Merit Health Medical Group to Open New Primary Care Clinic in South Brandon

Merit Health Medical Group is slated to open a primary care clinic in south Brandon in October of 2022. The clinic will be Merit Health’s 13th primary care clinic in the greater Jackson area.

The new clinic, located at 2841 Highway 18 in Brandon, features 12 exam rooms, a triage room, and a lab. Covering approximately 5,000 square feet, the clinic has space for up to three providers. The team of healthcare professionals will treat patients for a variety of illnesses including cold, cough, flu and sore throat. The providers will also offer annual wellness exams, sports and employment physicals and chronic disease management.

“Expanding our clinic network into the south Brandon area is something we have wanted to do for a while,” says Heather Sistrunk, Chief Executive Officer of Merit Health Rankin. “We have always been committed to our local community and this new location will allow our residents to walk in or schedule a same-day appointment and be seen by a healthcare provider quickly.”
